Chinatown is a neighborhood in lower Manhattan. This neighborhood lies in between Little Italy to the North, and Manhattan’s Civic Center to the South.
With an enormous population of Chinese Americans, Manhattan’s Chinatown is one of the largest Chinatowns outside of China, as well as being one of the oldest. Most inhabitants from this neighborhood speak Mandarin, but over the recent decades there has been an influx of other various Chinese dialects. There is a countless number of authentic Chinese restaurants, shops, and even pharmacies.
